LOST NATION, and it's sister community of New Landing,
is a safe, quiet, and friendly community located just east of the Rock River, midway between Dixon and Oregon.
It is a community of gentle rolling hills, open spaces, wooded lots, and beautiful sandstone bluffs developed around a small, man made lake (88 acres +/-), called Lost Lake. The lake is stocked annually with game fish and is owned and maintained by the River Conservancy District.
